No, in Colorado there are thousands of individuals and families affected or infected by HIV/AIDS; over 100 are children. Additionally, children (with AIDS) from other countries are being adopted by loving Colorado families. Still 30 years after the beginning of the epidemic, children, and families are struggling with the daily demands of doctor visits, illnesses, medication, discrimination, and the tragedy of AIDS.
