"I’m so thankful that even though HIV/AIDS is horrible, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, we had things like Angels Unaware to help support us! Thank you to all those that made it happen! And still do to this day fight for families like ours!!...... They are the people that helped me to know that just because my parents were sick with HIV/AIDS it didn't mean we were any less or that we were gross."

Why is Angels Unaware Needed?

Families living with HIV often face challenges that go far beyond medical care. Many experience isolation, stigma, financial strain, and limited access to supportive community spaces where they feel fully accepted. Angels Unaware exists to bridge that gap—creating environments where families can connect, share their stories, and experience joy without judgment. By bringing people together in meaningful, supportive ways, we help replace fear and isolation with belonging and hope.

Programs like Camp Ray-Ray give families something truly life-changing: a place to simply be themselves, build friendships, and create lasting memories in a safe and nurturing community. Children gain confidence, parents find understanding and support, and families discover strength in one another. Angels Unaware is needed because no family should have to navigate HIV alone, and together, we can ensure they never have to. 💛
